The Nonnewaug Invitational, Nonnewaug High School, Woodbury, CT. One of the longest running Invitational cross country meets in the state.

 Meet Information

Welcome:

You are invited to the Nonnewaug Invitational Cross Country Meet starting at 2:30pm on Saturday, October 15th, 2011. The meet is open to all high school age athletes competing with their high school team.

Facility:

The meet will be held at the Nonnewaug High School course/facility in Woodbury, CT.

Entry Procedures and Limits:

All meet registration is administered by EZ Meet Services in association with NSSF HeadCount. There are no late entries or day of meet entries. Coaches are responsible to payment of all entry fees as stated on this website.

Coaches need to register ALL their runners (Varsity and Junior Varsity ) into the Head Count events since all runners will be provided a bib number in order to receive a finish time and place.

Registration:

HeadCount Online Event Entry for Boys and Girls available at 09/19/2011.

Deadline for HeadCount event entry is 11:55 pm Eastern, THURSDAY, OCT. 13, 2011.

There are no late entries or day of meet entries.

Entry Fees - Checks: The entry fee is $70 for each team entered or $140.00 for each school consisting of a boys and girls team.

Coaches are responsible for payment of all entry fees as stated on this website.

Meet Rules:

Coaches, please pay special attention to the following:

To insure a fair and quality meet, NFHS and CIAC rules will govern all events.

The meet is open to all high school age athletes competing with their high school team.

Awards:

The top 15 finishers in each event will receive medals and tee shirts.

Each individual winner of the varsity races will receive a trophy as well and each varsity team winner will also receive a team trophy.

Doctor/Trainer:

An Athletic Trainer is on site during meet.

Miscellaneous:

Unfortunately there is no drinking water available on the fields, please make sure your athletes bring their own drinking water.

We do plan on providing concessions at the Invitational

There will be portable toilets on the field for use. There is no need to be in the High School.
