Welcome:
You are invited to the 24th Going to The Sun Cross Country Meet starting at 3:45pm on Wednesday, September 21, 2011. The meet is open to all high school age athletes competing with their high school team.
Facility:
The meet will be held at the Coginchaug Regional High School course/facility in Durham CT. All races are 5k in length.
Entry Procedures and Limits:
All meet registration is administered by EZ Meet Services in association with NSSF HeadCount. There are no late entries or day of meet entries.
Enter all your Varsity and JV athletes into either the Boys HS Race or Girls HS Race. On race day, run only 7 VARSITY ATHLETES for the Boys and Girls Varsity Races. All other non-varsity high school athletes can run in the JV races. There is no need to decide who runs in which race until race day since everyone receives a chip. You may run an unlimited number of athletes in the non-varsity races.

The online Intent to Enter deadline is 8:00 pm Eastern, Friday, Sep. 16, 2011.
Deadline for HeadCount entry is 8:00 pm Eastern, Friday, Sep. 16, 2011.
There are no late entries or day of meet entries.
Entry Fees - Checks: The entry fee is $100.00 for each team entered or $160.00 for each school consisting of a boys and girls team.

Meet Rules:
Coaches, please pay special attention to the following:
- To insure a fair and quality meet, NHFS and CIAC rules will govern all events.
- The meet is open to all high school age athletes competing with their high school team.
- All races are 5k in length.
Awards:
- Trophies to the top three teams.
- The top 25 finishers in each event will receive ribbons.
- Winner of each race receives a GTS long-sleeve t-shirt.
Doctor/Trainer:
An Athletic Trainer is on site during meet.
