You are invited to the CCC Cross Country Championships Meet starting at 3:00pm on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2011. The meet is open to all high school age athletes competing with their high school teams of the Central Connecticut Conference.
(Rain date is Thursday, October 20, 2011. In case of inclement weather a decision will be made by 12 noon and an email will be sent to all Athletic Directors. )
Race times are as follows:
Wickham Park opens at 1:30pm for team entry.
3:00 PM – JV Boys
3:30 PM –Varsity Boys
4:00 PM – Varsity Girls
4:30 PM – JV Girls
Facility:
The meet will be held at the Wickham Park course/facility in Manchester CT. Course map for the 5000m Course is available online at the meet website.

The finish line management and meet timing services has been contracted with Fast Track Timing LLC of New Milford CT. We will again utilize the chip system for each runner that will be distributed to each coach in their meet packets. Coaches are reminded that there is a $15.00/chip fee for any lost or non-returned chip.
Entry Procedures and Limits - Head Count Event Registration:

Deadline for Head Count Event entry is Friday at 9:00pm Eastern, October 14, 2011.
There are no late entries or day of meet entries. Schools not meeting the deadline will be charged a late fee of $20.00
Enter ALL your athletes into your Head Count Roster. Every athlete will be issued race day bib number so that we can accurately provide finish place and times for each athlete in every race.
Enter ALL your Varsity and Junior Varsity athletes into either the Boys HS Race or Girls HS Race Events in Head Count. On race day, run only 7 VARSITY ATHLETES for the Boys and Girls Varsity Races. All other non-varsity high school athletes will run in the JV races. There is no need to decide who runs in which race until race day since everyone receives a unique number. You may run an unlimited number of athletes in the non-varsity races.
Scoring:
Scoring for Varsity races will be by Division only. Athletes will also receive an overall place card. The timing service will sort runners by division.
