Welcome:
You are invited to the Irv Black High School Invitational on Friday (3:30pm), April 16, 2010 and Saturday (10:00am), April 17, 2010. The meet is open to all high school age athletes competing with their high school team.
Facility:
The meet will be held at the Manchester High School Track and Field Facility in Manchester, CT.
Entry Procedures and Limits:
· All meet registration is administered by MySportsResults.com EZ Meet Services in conjunction with Head Count Event registration. There are no late entries or day of meet entries. · Athletes can compete in any three (3) events. No boy/girl may be entered in more than three (3) events, including relays. Entry as an alternate counts as one of the athlete's three (3) events. · Only one (1) relay per event per school. · You may not add or change athletes on the day of competition. · You may scratch without penalty before the start of the meet at 3:00pm on Friday and 9:45am on Saturday. - Deadline for online Intent to Enter registration is 11:59pm, Monday, April 5, 2010.
- Deadline for Head Count Event entry is 7:00pm Eastern, Monday, April 12, 2010.
- There are no late entries or day of meet entries.

Entry Fees are due by April 12th, 2010. All Entry Fee Balances must be reconciled before the start of the meet in order for a team to compete. Purchase Orders and school checks are tolerated at day of the meet. Entry fees are charged for entering the meet. You owe for each entry made online. No refunds of event entry for scratches or no-shows.
* Failure to pay will result in team's not being able to enter next year's meet.
Meet Rules:
All athletes must be eligible to represent their respective schools in accordance to (C.I.A.C.) regulations.
Code of Conduct: Athletes and Coaches are expected to behave in a proper manner. The infield is out of bounds to athletes and coaches. We will be using automatic timing so athletes and coaches are expected to stay away from the finish line.
Implement Check: All implements must be checked in by an inspector prior to use in the meet. Violators will be disqualified for using implements that have not passed meet inspection.
Pole Vault: We will be requiring coaches to verify that their athletes are jumping on the right size poles. The coaches will be required to sign a form verifying this fact.
Intermediate 400 Hurdles: We will be running the 400 Intermediate hurdles. We do not have the 300 marks on the track. Please enter athletes who you believe can run the 400 hurdles.
· Men: Add 17 seconds to 300m Hurdle time when entering athletes. · Women: Add 19 seconds to 300m Hurdle time when entering athletes. Awards:
Custom medals will be presented to the first 6 finishers in each event including JV events.
