Welcome:
CCC-North coaches and their teams are invited to the 2012 CCC North Boys-Girls Championships starting at 3:30 on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at East Hartford High School. The meet is open to coaches and their high school age athletes competing for their CCC North high school team including East Catholic, East Hartford, Glastonbury, Manchester, South Windsor, Weaver, Wethersfield and Windsor. Facility:
- The meet will be held at East Hartford High School. East Hartford High School offers an 8-lane track with a 9 lane straightaway for 100M and high hurdles.
- Shot put/discus is thrown from depressed concrete circles on to grass inside the stadium.
- Javelin is thrown on grass outside the stadium.
- Fully automatic timing and meet results are provided by Manchester Timing and EZ Meet Services.
Entry Procedures and Limits: - All meet registration is administered by EZ Meet Services in conjunction with NSSF HeadCount services. There are no late entries or day of meet entries.
- Athletes may compete in any three (3) events. No boy/girl may be entered in more than three (3) events, including relays. Entry as an alternate on a relay team counts as one of the athlete's three (3) events.
- Only one (1) relay team per event per school (no “B” teams).
- Each team shall be entitled to enter two (2) athletes per event (automatic entrees). If a team enters more than 2 athletes in a single event, ALL entered athletes must meet Class S standards noted on the Event Standards page.
The coach is responsible for ensuring that the 3 or more athletes meet the Class S Standards during HeadCount event entry. The Meet Director has final control of the events and entries. - All hand-timed entry marks shall first be rounded up to the slower one-tenth of a second and then a conversion factor of 0.24 must be added prior to entering the athlete into the meet.
Registration:
- HeadCount Event Entry Deadline is 9:00pm Eastern, Thursday, May. 17, 2012.
- There are no late entries or day of meet entries.
Entry Fee:
UPDATED 5/10/2012: The entry fee is $250.00 per school (includes boys and girls teams) payable before 5/22/2012.

Meet Rules:
Coaches, please pay special attention to the following:
- To insure a fair and quality meet, CIAC rules will govern all events.
- The jewelry/Uniform rules are in effect and enforced.
- The meet is open to all high school age athletes competing with their CCC North high school team.
- Trials and finals shall be conducted for both the 100M Dash and the 100/110M high hurdles races. All other track races are finals in slow to fast heat order
- 4 throws/jumps per athlete. No Finals.
- All heats and flights count towards places-scoring.
- Team Scoring will be as follows: Individual Events – 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 (8 places)
Doctor/Trainer:
- An Athletic Trainer is on site during meet.
Implement Check:
- All implements must be checked in by an inspector prior to use in the meet. Violators will be disqualified for using implements that have not passed meet inspection.
