Welcome:
Coaches and their teams are invited to register for the SCC Coaches Invitational Meet on Saturday, January 14, 2012 starting at 9:00am. The meet is open to all high school age athletes competing with their high school team that are on the list of schools with Intent to Enter forms accepted on the Meet Reports page. Online Intent to Enter form required for participation, first 60 teams accepted.
Facility:
The meet will be held at the Floyd Little Athletic Center (formerly the New Haven Track & Field Center) in New Haven, CT. The 25 million dollar facility is one of the finest in the Northeast. It is a six – lane 200-meter flat track, with 6 lanes on the turns and 7 on the straightaway with a Martin 2000 surface. Athletes may use pyramid spikes no larger than 1/8th of an inch (no needle spikes allowed).
Entry Procedures and Limits:
- Athletes can compete in any two events. No boy/girl may be entered in more than two events, including relays. Entry as an alternate counts as one of the athlete's two events.
- Two (2) entries per school in each event.
- One (1) Relay team per school per event (no B teams).
Registration:
- All meet registration is administered by EZ Meet Services with the Head Count Registration system.
- Coaches must complete an Online Intent to Enter form on the Registration Instructions page. Online Intent to Enter form required for participation, first 60 teams accepted.
- Coaches deadline for deadline for Head Count on-time entry is 6:00 pm Eastern, Sunday, January 8, 2012.
- No day of meet entries.
Entry Fees:
- Co-ed Teams: $240.00 or 1 Gender Team: $120.00
- Note that Entry fees are charged for ENTERING the meet. You owe for each team entry made online. There are NO REFUNDS for scratches or “no shows.”

Meet Rules:
Coaches, please pay special attention to the following:
- The CIAC order of events for the 2011-12 season will be followed. All rules which govern the CIAC meet series will be in use during this meet.
- Athletes may only use pyramid spikes less than 1/8th of an inch. No Needle spikes allowed
Implement Check:
All implements must be checked in by an inspector prior to use in the meet. Violators will be disqualified for using implements that have not passed meet inspection.
