Meet Director Dave Smith welcomes coaches, teams and fans to the 67th Hartford Public High School Indoor Track and Field Invitational on Saturday, January 9, 2010. The meet is open to all high school age athletes competing with their high school team. The meet this season will also serve as the host for the 2009-10 Triple Jump and Weight Throw Indoor Track and Field State Championships. Last year's meet served as the inaugural Weight Throw State Championships. The meet will be held at the Bacon Fieldhouse-Freeman Athletic Center at Wesleyan University in Middletown CT. The Bacon Field House houses a 200-meter, six lane track.
Coaches who intend to bring their teams to the meet should submit their online Intent to Enter form as soon as possible by 12/29/2009 as detailed on the Registration Instructions page. Online Head Count Event Entry for Men and Women is available starting 12/14/2009. Deadline for entry is 7:00pm Eastern, Saturday, Jan 2, 2010. There are no late entries or day of meet entries. Please note that there are minimum event entry standards as this is a meet for Varsity level athletes.
