Welcome:
Coaches and their teams are invited to register for the 2011 Hillhouse Winter Relays Meet on Tuesday, Dec. 27th, 2011. The meet is open to all high school age athletes competing with their high school team.
Facility:
The meet will be held at the Floyd Little Athletic Center (formerly the New Haven Track & Field Center) in New Haven, CT. The 25 million dollar facility is one of the finest in the Northeast. It is a six – lane 200-meter flat track, with 6 lanes on the turns and 7 on the straightaway with a Martin 2000 surface. Athletes may use pyramid spikes no larger than 1/8th of an inch (no needle spikes allowed).
Meet Entry Procedures and Limits:
- The meet is limited to coaches of the first 25 schools to submit their online Intent to Enter by 9pm on Tuesday, Dec. 13th, 2011.
- Accepted Coach/Team Intent to Entries will be posted on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011.
- Athletes can compete in any two (2) events. No boy/girl may be entered in more than two (2) events, including relays. Entry as a relay alternate counts as one of the athlete's two (2) events.
- Schools are allowed to run 1 relay per event.
Exception is the 55m Shuttle Hurdle Relays where schools are allowed two (2) relay teams of 2 athletes. - All Field Event Relay events consist of 3-athlete teams.
Online Registration:
- Coaches must complete an Online Intent to Enter form on Registration Instructions page by 9pm on Tuesday, 12/13/2011. Maximum of 25 teams accepted.
- Coaches deadline for online Head Count event entry is 5:00pm Eastern, Friday, Dec. 23, 2011.
- No late entries or day of meet entries accepted.
- All meet registration is administered by EZ Meet Services.
Entry Fees - Checks:
- The team entry fee is $100.00 for each single gender team and $200 for combined teams.

Meet Rules:
Coaches, please pay special attention to the following:
- To insure a fair and quality meet, CIAC rules will govern all events.
- Implement Check: All implements must be checked in by an inspector prior to use in the meet. Violators will be disqualified for using implements that have not passed meet inspection.
